
Chai Spiced Egg White Oats
A delicious and fluffy oatmeal recipe infused with warming chai spices. This dish combines gluten-free oats with egg whites for added protein and volume. Topped with sautéed cinnamon apples, pecans, blueberries, and nut butter, it’s a healthy breakfast option that can easily be made vegan by omitting the egg whites.
What you need

cup applesauce

tsp nutmeg

tsp maca powder

pinch allspice

tsp vanilla

tsp cinnamon

tsp cardamom

tsp turmeric

tsp salt

cup water
Instructions
1: Bring water and salt to a boil. 2: Add all other ingredients except for egg whites and reduce heat to medium low. 3: Cook for about 7 minutes until most of the liquid has been absorbed, stirring every couple of minutes. 4: Turn off the heat and while whisking, add the egg whites. 5: Continue to whisk vigorously until the oats are fluffy and the egg whites are mixed in/cooked (about 1-2 minutes). 6: Serve topped with thinly sliced sautéed cinnamon apples, pecans, blueberries, and nut butter. 7: To make vegan, omit the egg whites and cook a couple more minutes until liquid is fully absorbed.View original recipe
