Feta and Olive Oil Appetizer with French Bread
A delicious appetizer featuring creamy feta cheese mixed with yogurt and a hint of orange, topped with a flavorful garlic, parsley, and pine nut oil, served with crusty French bread and a drizzle of honey.
What you need

cup plain greek yogurt

slice french bread
tsp orange zest

splash orange juice

clove garlic clove

tbsp olive oil

tbsp pine nut

oz feta
cup fresh parsley
tsp red pepper flake

tbsp honey
Instructions
1. Add the feta, yogurt, 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, orange juice, and pinch of salt to a food processor and process until almost smooth but still with some feta chunks. Set aside in the refrigerator until ready to serve. 2. Heat 1/4 cup olive oil over medium heat, then once it is hot, add the garlic, parsley, pine nuts, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir, then let it sizzle in the oil for 1-2 minutes until the garlic and pine nuts just start to brown. Remove from the heat and let it cool. 3. Spread the prepared feta mixture onto a plate or a shallow bowl, then use a spoon to create some divots for the oil. 4. Pour the cooled oil mixture over the feta. 5. Sprinkle with orange zest. 6. Serve with French bread slices and a drizzle of honey.
