
Maple-Herb Cauliflower Steaks
Delicious roasted cauliflower steaks brushed with Maple-Herb butter and served with a vibrant lemon-basil-avocado salsa. Perfect for summer with fresh basil and easy to prepare for a healthy meal.
What you need

tbsp maple syrup

tsp oregano

tsp salt
head cauliflower
avocado
tsp lemon zest
tsp pepper

tbsp lemon juice

cup basil
tbsp olive oil
tsp red pepper flake

oz pine nut

tbsp coconut oil

tsp herbes de provence
Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 425°F (convection). 2: Trim the stem of the cauliflower to make it flat, turn it over and slice down the middle to create two 1.5 inch steaks. 3: Make the Maple-Herb butter by combining melted butter, maple syrup, herbs de Provence, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. 4: Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with the Maple-Herb butter, then roast for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway. 5: While the cauliflower is roasting, make the salsa by combining avocado, basil, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, salt, oregano, and pepper in a bowl. Mix to combine. 6: Serve the roasted cauliflower topped with the salsa, toasted pine nuts, red pepper flakes, and more lemon zest.View original recipe
