Instructions
1: Make the crust by combining the pulsed oats, potato starch and salt in a medium bowl. 2: Add 1/2 cup of maple syrup and 1/2 cup cashew butter and mix to form a ball of dough. 3: Press the dough into a greased pie pan, making sure to evenly spread. 4: Make the Cinnamon-Maple filling by mixing together 1/2 cup oats, cinnamon, 1/4 cup maple syrup, and 1/4 cup of cashew butter together. 5: Spread it evenly in the bottom of the cookie crust. 6: Core the apples then slice them with a sharp knife into very thin slices. 7: Arrange them in a design over the Cinnamon-Maple filling. 8: Brush the tops of the apple with maple syrup and sprinkle with sliced almonds. 9: Preheat the oven to 325°F. 10: Cover the pie-tart with aluminum foil, and bake for 50-55 minutes, removing the cover for the last 15 minutes.
