Instructions
1: Saute one medium chopped onion and a 1/4 cup chopped red pepper in 2 teaspoons oil. 2: Add 2 cloves minced garlic and sauté for another minute. 3: Add 15-ounce can of tomato sauce, 1/3 cup salsa, 1 cup broth, and 1.5 cups water. 4: Add 4 teaspoons cumin, 1 teaspoon chipotle powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. 5: Add 1 tablespoon coconut aminos, 1 teaspoon lime juice, and 1 tablespoon tomato paste. 6: Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring. 7: For a thinner soup, add more water; for less spice, reduce cumin amount. 8: Top with boiled shrimp tossed in olive oil and cilantro, crispy tortilla strips, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, and fresh tomatoes.View original recipe
