
Swedish Meatballs
Lightened up Swedish meatballs made with ground turkey and cottage cheese, served with a 5-ingredient gravy. A healthier twist on a classic dish perfect for Meatball Monday.
What you need

tsp pepper

tsp salt
tsp dried oregano

cup mushroom

cup sour cream

tbsp almond flour

cup onion

tsp cumin

tsp mustard

tbsp coconut aminos

tsp paprika

tsp dried basil
egg

tsp dried thyme

lb ground turkey
Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 400°F. 2: Mix together the ingredients in a medium bowl, form into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place in an oven safe pan (or a baking sheet). 3: Place in preheated oven for 22-24 minutes. 4: While meatballs are baking, make the gravy. Blend 1/4 cup sour cream with 1 cup broth, 1/2 teaspoon mustard, 1 tablespoon coconut aminos, and 1 tablespoon of potato starch or gluten free flour. 5: Heat the mixture for the gravy over medium high heat, and whisk as it comes to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and continue to whisk. 6: Remove meatballs from oven, pour the gravy over them and heat again over medium high for 2 minutes.View original recipe
