
Tamari & Honey Roasted Green Beans
This dish features blanched and roasted green beans tossed with soy sauce and honey, topped with a crunchy peanut-date crumble that adds sweetness, spice, and zest. Perfect for seasonal green beans!
What you need

fl oz lime juice

tbsp honey

tsp sesame oil

cup fresh cilantro

lime zest

tsp salt
cup dry roasted peanuts
tsp pepper

tbsp soy sauce
tbsp red pepper flake

medjool dates

bunch scallion

tsp garlic

tsp ginger
tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1: Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 2: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the green beans. Cook until bright in color, about 2 minutes. 3: Drain the water, pat the beans dry and place them in a large bowl. 4: Add the oil, soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper, and toss to combine. 5: Place the green beans on the baking sheet, spread out, and place in the oven for 8-12 minutes, until desired doneness. 6: While the beans are roasting, make the crumble. Add each ingredient one at a time to a cutting board, chopping each time to incorporate until mixed. 7: Place the green beans on a plate, then sprinkle the crumble on top.View original recipe
